Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store team member in Minnesota to act as a point of contact for customers, assist with plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and support daily store operations. You will greet customers, operate the register, and help maintain a clean, organized sales floor.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; store merchandise in stock room or move to sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays.
• Stock and rotate merchandise on shelves; face products.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Bail cardboard and take out trash; dust and mop floors; clean restroom and stockroom.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Greet customers.
• Operate cash register and flatbed scanner to itemize and total purchases; bag merchandise and collect payment.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using hand-held scanners as needed.
• Clean front of store and help set up sidewalk displays when necessary.
