Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a retail team member to act as the customer contact, assist in setting plan-o-grams, restock merchandise, and maintain store presentation. You will greet customers, assist with locating products, operate the cash register, and help ensure a clean, organized sales floor.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

• Basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and receive merchandise.
• Unpack cartons, store in stock room or stock floor.
• Build and maintain merchandise displays.
• Stock, rotate and face products on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise as needed.
• Assist customers by locating items.
• Bag merchandise and handle cash register transactions.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean front end and sidewalk displays as required.
