Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a customer-oriented associate to support merchandise stocking, displays, and cashier duties at our Dundalk, MD location. You will unload deliveries, stock shelves, and assist shoppers with locating items while maintaining clean, organized aisles.

The role requires basic math and cash-handling skills, with familiarity with plan-o-grams and safety procedures. A high school diploma is preferred; experience in retail is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandising guidance.
• Basic math and cash handling knowledge.
• Experience with IBM/point-of-sale systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons; store merchandise.
• Build and rotate displays; stock shelves and face merchandise.
• Assist customers in locating items.
• Operate cash register, process payments, and bag goods.
• Keep store clean and adhere to policies and procedures.
