Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a team-oriented associate to support daily store operations in Conroe, TX. You will help customers locate merchandise, maintain plan-o-grams, stock and display products, and operate the cash register with accuracy and courtesy.

Physical duties include unloading trucks and stocking shelves, with attention to safety and merchandise presentation. A high school diploma is preferred; experience in retail and cash handling is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Receive, open, unpack cartons and totes; store or move to sales floor.
• Build and maintain merchandise displays; rotate stock.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answer questions.
• Operate cash register and bag purchases; handle payments.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners when needed.
• Clean and organize store areas and assist with sidewalk displays when necessary.
