Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Store Team Member to support daily operations at a Texas store. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, build displays, assist customers, and operate the cash register while maintaining store cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; store merchandise in stock room or move to sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and stock merchandise; rotate and face on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and flatbed scanner to itemize and total purchases; bag merchandise; collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners, as needed.
• Clean front end of store and assist with sidewalk displays when necessary.
