Job summary

Michaels Canton is hiring a Retail Sales Manager focused on Sales and Custom Framing. You will lead framers and sales staff, build customer relationships, and drive custom framing solutions for art pieces.

You will manage daily operations, coaching, and performance to meet KPIs while ensuring safety, inventory control, and excellent customer service in a dynamic retail environment. Nights, weekends, and early mornings required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.

• Retail management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers and sales associates to build relationships with customers.
• Drive and promote custom framing sales and solutions for artwork.
• Assist customers in selecting framing options and create memorable framing plans.
• Ensure SOP compliance and company programs are followed; uphold store policies and standards.
• Plan workload with the Store Manager to deliver framing solutions on time and meet KPIs.
• Manage inventory, shrink programs, and safety initiatives.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and participate in interviewing, onboarding, and training of new team members.
• Support talent development and performance management activities for the team.
