Job summary

POP MART is seeking a Retail Sales Lead in Tulalip Bay, WA. You will lead on the sales floor, coach associates, and ensure exceptional customer experiences while supporting daily store operations.

As the Leader on Duty when the Store Manager is unavailable, you will drive sales performance, manage inventories, and execute visual merchandising standards across launches and seasonal campaigns, while staying aligned with POP MART’s brand and community initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example to deliver an exceptional customer experience and a customer-first culture.
  • Serve as Leader on Duty in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
  • Coach, motivate, and support Sales Associates to meet goals.
  • Build relationships by sharing POP MART artist stories and collections.
  • Create an energetic, inclusive environment for customers and team members.
  • Help achieve store sales goals and key KPIs through product recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve store performance and communicate needs to leadership.
  • Execute opening/closing procedures and ensure policy compliance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and visually compelling store environment.
  • Process transactions, returns, exchanges, and other POS activities.
  • Support shipment processing, replenishment, inventory accuracy and cycle counts.
  • Protect assets by following cash handling and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Execute visual merchandising standards and promotional displays.
  • Install fixtures, decals and planograms for launches and campaigns.
  • Refresh merchandising based on inventory levels and business priorities.
  • Support inventory audits, receiving, transfers, and back-of-house organization.
  • Partner with leadership to maintain inventory accuracy for merchandise availability.
  • Serve as brand ambassador and participate in in-store events and activations.
  • Support Robo Shop operations where applicable and work evenings/weekends as needed.

As a Sales Lead, you'll play a key leadership role in creating exceptional customer experiences while supporting the daily operations of the store. As a trusted leader on the sales floor, you'll inspire your team, ensure operational excellence, and help bring the POP MART brand to life for every customer. You'll serve as the Leader on Duty when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is unavailable, providing direction to the team, driving sales performance, and ensuring our stores consistently deliver the premium experience our collectors expect. From coaching associates and supporting visual merchandising to inventory management and new product launches, you'll help create an engaging environment where customers can discover the excitement of POP MART.

This position reports directly to the Store Manager.

Leadership & Customer Experience
  • Lead by example to deliver an exceptional customer experience and inspire a customer-first culture.
  • Serve as the Leader on Duty in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Coach, motivate, and support Sales Associates to achieve individual and store performance goals.
  • Build meaningful relationships with customers by sharing the stories behind POP MART's artists, characters, Blind Boxes, MEGA Collections, and exclusive collaborations.
  • Foster an energetic, inclusive, and engaging environment for customers and team members alike.
Sales & Business Performance
  • Help achieve and exceed store sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales, conversion, units per transaction (UPT), average transaction value (ATV), and customer engagement.
  • Promote key product categories, limited-edition releases, and exclusive collections through knowledgeable product recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve store performance and communicate operational needs or business opportunities to store leadership.
Store Operations
  • Execute opening and closing procedures while ensuring operational excellence and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and visually compelling store environment.
  • Accurately process customer transactions, returns, exchanges, and other POS activities.
  • Support shipment processing, replenishment, stockroom organization, inventory accuracy, and cycle counts.
  • Help protect company assets by following cash handling, safety, and loss prevention procedures.
Visual Merchandising & Inventory
  • Execute POP MART visual merchandising standards, marketing directives, and promotional displays.
  • Install new fixtures, marketing materials, decals, and planograms for product launches and seasonal campaigns.
  • Refresh merchandising based on inventory levels, product sell-through, and business priorities.
  • Support inventory audits, receiving, transfers, replenishment, and back-of-house organization.
  • Partner with store leadership to maintain inventory accuracy and ensure merchandise is available for customers.
Brand & Community
  • Serve as a knowledgeable brand ambassador by staying current on POP MART products, artists, characters, and company initiatives.
  • Support in-store events, collector experiences, pop-up activations, conventions, new store openings, and other brand initiatives.
  • Support Robo Shop operations and partner with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience where applicable.
  • Maintain flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and other peak business periods.
What you will need:
  • 1+ years of retail experience; previous leadership, keyholder, or supervisory experience preferred.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout scheduled shifts.
  • Must be able to frequently bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and climb ladders or step stools to stock and retrieve merchandise.
  • Must be able to regularly lift, carry, push, or move merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds.
Pay Range Details

The hourly pay rate for this position is $18.13 per hour. This range is provided in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws and may vary based on geographic location. Individual compensation will be determined based on factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications.
