Job description

We are seeking a Retail Sales Planning Lead to join our team. You will be responsible for optimizing the shopping experience and maximizing retail sales. To be successful in this role, you should have 3 years of experience, previous retail selling experience, and experience in a consultative sales environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing guidance on layout, color, style, and accessories for residential and business customers
  • Utilizing specialized knowledge and training to sell specialized home furnishing solutions
  • Creating relationships with customers to identify customer needs and provide support
  • Driving repeat visitation to the IKEA stores by ensuring the sales team is customer-centric
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations when assigned, including opening and/or closing duties for the store

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience
  • Previous retail selling experience

Working conditions:

  • Travel is required for this role (25-50% travel, 2 days per week on average)
