Job summary

GUESS? LLC. is seeking a Sales Associate in McAllen, TX to generate sales and deliver a superior customer experience on the shop floor. You will handle operational duties such as housekeeping, visual presentation, and helping maintain store standards.

You will greet customers, provide product information, assist in fitting rooms, and ensure cashier area is clean and ready. The role requires a team‑oriented mindset and willingness to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Ability to work well in a team‑oriented environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance on a frequent basis.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere non-business‑like greeting.
• Create a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adhering to dress code.
• Maintain a sparkling clean and organized environment by adhering to store standards and cleanliness.
• Provide customers with current relevant information about the product.
• Provide quality service in the fitting rooms, follow up with customers in a timely manner, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and attempt to add on to the sale.
• Provide efficient service at the cash wrap, offer Gift Cards, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and capture customer information in the database.
• Sincerely thank all customers for shopping at GUESS as they exit the store.
• Satisfactorily complete all duties as assigned by management.
• Be punctual and adhere to the designated work schedule.
• Be flexible and work well with peers and management to accomplish duties.
• Follow GUESS Policies and Procedures 100%.
• Perform housekeeping duties as required.
• Meet or exceed the Sales per Hour (SPH) result as assigned by management.
• Participate in and attend all store meetings and other related functions.
• Represent a positive attitude toward the merchandise and the company.
• Participate in all inventories.
• Assume and complete other duties as assigned by store management.
