Acosta is looking for a part-time sales associate to work in Alamogordo, New Mexico. This role involves guiding customers on the sales floor with a consultative approach, providing exceptional service, and creating an engaging client experience. Your flexible work schedule will be between 9 am and 7 pm, including weekends.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, be comfortable approaching customers, and enjoy persuading them positively. The position offers an hourly pay between $17.00 and $20.00.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check for Military Installations.
• Prior retail or customer-facing sales experience is a plus, but not required.
• Must be able to work 15-20 hours per week and weekends.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods.

Description

On the sales floor, you’ll use a consultative sales approach guiding customers through their options, this is where your drive and passion for helping people will really shine. You’ll work a schedule between 9am-7pm, including weekends, so you can be there when our customers need us. This is a fast‑paced environment; being flexible and open to change will help you stay current with evolving tech and all the ways we work to meet customers’ needs. No sales experience? We’ll provide you with the tools, training and coaching needed to help you meet and exceed your goals!

Responsibilities

• Positively impacting sales volume of individual in‑house and point of sale involvement
• Greet all customers with enthusiasm, determine customers’ needs, provide courteous & knowledgeable service to customers, and suggest products by following our service and selling strategies
• Attract new clients with the ability to engage them quickly
• Create an amazing experience for all clients through high‑touch service
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass background check to work on Military Installations
• Prior retail or customer‑facing sales experience is a plus—Not required
• Must be able to work between 15‑20 hours per week and weekends
