AT&T in Madison, TN is seeking a Retail Sales Consultant to join our team. You will guide customers with a consultative approach, help them explore options, and drive sales while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service.

You''ll work 9am-9pm on a 40-hour schedule, weekends included, with opportunities to earn uncapped commissions and a competitive hourly base. Prior retail or customer-facing experience is a plus, and training is provided to help you meet your goals.

• Possess a competitive spirit and desire to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Stay up to date on the latest data/entertainment technology and devices, such as Wi‑Fi, data devices, TV entertainment tools.
• Understand customers' needs and help them discover how our products meet those needs.
• Multi‑task in a fast‑paced team environment
• Educate and engage customers through product demonstrations.
• Interact with customers and provide prompt and courteous customer service to all customers.

The successful candidate will be able to perform the following with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to complete all paperwork completely, accurately, in a timely manner
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to operate a personal computer, wireless equipment, copier and fax
• Ability to work in other locations as the needs of the business dictate may be required.
• Complete all aspects of opening and closing the store in accordance with written procedures.
• Submit all transaction journals on a daily basis.
• Assists with inventory maintenance
• May be required to wear a uniform

Retail Sales Consultants are paid a competitive hourly rate and can earn additional monthly commission dollars by meeting and/or exceeding sales objectives!

On the sales floor, you'll use a consultative sales approach guiding customers through their options, this is where your drive and passion for helping people will really shine.

You’ll be a part of the community through events, filling online orders and making outbound calls to existing and potential customers.

You’ll work a schedule between 9am-9pm, including weekends, so you can be there when our customers need us. Monthly seniority‑based schedules are available 2 weeks in advance.

This is a fast‑paced environment, being flexible and open to change will help you stay current with evolving tech and all the ways we work to meet customer’s needs.

Prior retail or customer‑facing sales experience is a plus. No sales experience? We’ll provide you with the tools, training and coaching needed to help you meet and exceed your goals!

Our new Retail Sales Consultant’s earn between $46,400 to $75,000, including hourly rate and our uncapped commission opportunities for our top sellers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training. Salary range is dependent on if all sales goals are met and/or exceeded.
