Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii seeks a retail associate for the Pearl MiniMart. You will sell general merchandise, greet customers, and use professional selling techniques to provide service that exceeds expectations.

As part of the Food and Beverage Convenience Bar team, you will open/close the bar, stock and display products, ensure cleanliness, monitor temperatures, and participate in safety trainings. No experience required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Sell general merchandise using professional selling techniques.
• Work as part of a sales team to meet customer service goals.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers to provide sales-related assistance.
• Assist in selecting merchandise and upsell complementary items.
• Operate cash register and complete transactions accurately, including gift certificates and layaway.
• Maintain stock, displays, cleanliness, and neat presentation of merchandise.
• Adhere to NEX dress code and policies while supporting the sales team.
• Open and close the Food and Beverage Convenience Bar and ensure proper setup.
