Job summary

UNIQLO is seeking a part-time seasonal associate in Rhode Island. You will meet and exceed sales goals, maintain brand standards, and assist customers with product knowledge while supporting stock, fitting rooms, and cashier duties as needed.

The role requires flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift items up to 25 pounds. Seasonal end date is 12/31/2026.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales goals.

• Assist customers using UNIQLO service standards and brand principles.
• Assist with fitting room standards and cashier duties when required.
• Process shipments and ensure merchandise is represented on the floor.
• Support management to identify and resolve store issues.
• Provide product and brand knowledge to customers.
• Follow all company policies and report infractions.
• Assist with special projects as assigned by management.

Job description

Salary : $16.00 / hour

This position is seasonal, with an end date of 12/31/2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales goals
• Maintain brand and operational standards (visual, cleanliness, etc.)
• Manage customer needs and exceed expectations by utilizing the UNIQLO service standard, following the UNIQLO Fundamental Principles and saying the 6 standard phrases.
• Be knowledgeable of fitting room standards and assist when needed
• Act as cashier when required by following cashier protocol
• Process shipment and ensure all merchandise is represented on the floor in full size run
• Assist management to identify and resolve issues in the store
• Provide product and brand knowledge to customers
• Follow all company policy and procedures & notify management of any infractions
• Assist with special projects as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to effectively communicate and follow instructions
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets the business needs, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, read computer terminals, push, pull or move objects of at least 25 pounds
• Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom including: repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing

Part time/Seasonal requirements

• Minimum of 12 hours per week
• Availability on weekends, with religious exemptions considered
• Availability on Black Friday and during the holiday period (12/19-12/31 – we are closed on Christmas Day)
