Job summary

North 40 Outfitters in Mead, WA, is seeking a Full-Time Receiving Associate to join our team. You will be responsible for accurate, timely, and safe movement of merchandise from truck to sales floor, with emphasis on attention to detail and efficiency.

The role requires forklift familiarity, computer proficiency, and the ability to lift 0–65 lbs. Flexibility with shifts Mon–Sat and Sundays is essential.

Responsibilities

• Move merchandise from trucks to the sales floor accurately and safely.
• Operate multiple computer programs as part of receiving tasks.
• Work scheduled shifts Mon–Sat 7am–8pm and Sunday 9am–5pm.
• Provide phenomenal customer service and teamwork.
• Follow safe lifting techniques and use pallet jacks as needed.

Job Description

North 40 Outfitters in Mead, WA.,is looking to hire aFull-Time Receiving Associateto join our team.We believe that each team member plays a vital role in the success of our company. We are looking for authentic and enthusiastic people who love our lifestyle and believe in service before self. As a ReceivingAssociateat North 40, you will be responsible for the accurate, timely and safe movement of merchandise from the moment merchandise leaves a truck until it is placed onto the sales floor. This position requires a candidate with a high attention to detail and the ability to operate multiple computer programs.

This full-time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon-Sat 7am to 8 pm and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm. This shift can include working weekends and certain holidays and will require flexibility in scheduling based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Willingness to share credit, work with others in a team environment, and define success collectively rather than individually
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while remaining detailed and focused
• Familiar with computers and various programs
• Ability to become forklift certified a must, must be 18+ years old to acquire
• Receiving and/or warehouse experience helpful
• Ability to take initiative, embrace change, and learn new things
• Drive to be dependable, and to perform well against the expectations of the role
• Ability to work independently or in a group setting
• Committed to supplying our North 40 guests with phenomenal customer service
• Good communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with individuals on a regular basis
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize
• Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques. Physical ability to lift and carry 0-25 lbs. continuously, 25-45lbs. frequently, and 45-65 lbs. occasionally, andteam lift anything over 65 lbs. Spending 100% of work time on your feet, including use of ladders, rolling staircases and pallet jacks.
