Job summary

Visionworks is seeking an Optical Specialist/Retail Sales Associate in Vienna, VA to be the face of the business and ensure a smooth patient journey. You will be trained on optics and our vision care services to meet eyewear needs in a simple, human and bold way.

You will drive sales, engage customers, measure eyewear fit, and participate in daily store operations and training to stay current with products. This part-time role includes benefits and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not required.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services meeting eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for eyewear and maintain product knowledge through training to ensure Right the First Time.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities supporting store financial and customer experience goals including restocking and order fulfillment.

Pay Class: Part Time

Pay Rate: $12.77-16.33/hr

The Role

A VisionworksOptical Specialist/Retail Sales Associate is the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/services and managed vision care. The Sr. OS personally takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple, human and bold way.

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship

Compensation range for the roles is listed above. Applicable salary rangers may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. As a part of the compensation package, this role may include eligible bonuses, equity, and commissions.
