Position Overview

The Retail Sales Associate will function primarily on the sales floor and cash wrap. Responsibilities include revenue generation, merchandise demonstration, guest assistance, stocking, staging, and visual standards maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide purchasing options based on needs and wants, demonstrating product knowledge and company policies
• Assist with the bi‑annual inventory process
• Keep up-to-date on current products, pricing, and promotions
• Handle financial transactions and purchases accurately using POS systems
• Present customers with product promotions and cross‑sell opportunities based on conversation
• Assist with returns and exchanges
• Ensure regular, dependable attendance and punctuality; perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (no prior experience required)
• Strong communication skills: reading, writing, and interpreting instructional documents; effective verbal interaction with customers, peers, and management; proper two‑way radio etiquette
• Reasoning ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Physical Demands

• Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, and standing; must stand for at least two consecutive hours
• Lift at least 10 lbs.; possible stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and repetitive motions

Pay & Benefits

Hourly Pay Rate: starting at $15/hr

Average Hours: 24–28 hours/week
Weekly schedule varies between 9am and midnight; weekends, weekdays, and holidays required
Pay Range (US): $18,720 – $20,841 annually (base pay varies by geography, knowledge, skills, and experience)
