Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Retail Sales Associate in Granite Falls, NC to help customers find parts, provide expert advice, and keep the store well stocked while delivering WOW! Customer Service. You will engage with customers, promote promotions, and support store operations with a focus on product knowledge and teamwork.

A flexible schedule is required; basic automotive knowledge is valued. Spanish and English bilingual communication is a plus, and ASE certification is beneficial for advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance & Communication – Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions.
• Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment.
• Sales & Metrics Mindedness – Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience, while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Inventory Management & Store Operations – Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow proper POS procedures, loss prevention policies.
• Process Orientation & Safety Compliance – Follow structured processes and safety policies, using PPE to maintain a secure work environment.
• Product Knowledge – Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions.
• Diagnostics Support – Use diagnostic tools to read codes and recommend solutions to customers.
