Retail Sales Associate – Part Time at ALLDATA (AutoZone). AutoZone’s store teams are the frontline of WOW! Customer Service, ensuring customers find the right parts and solutions for automotive needs. Store employees maintain inventory, assist customers with product selection, and provide expert advice to enhance the shopping experience, driving sales and maintaining store operations in a positive, knowledgeable retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance & Communication – Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions through clear, professional communication.
• Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment. Support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Sales & Metrics – Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience, while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Inventory Management & Store Operations – Restock merchandise, maintain organization, follow proper point of sale procedures, and adhere to loss prevention policies to ensure proper financial management. Keep store operations running smoothly.
• Process Orientation & Safety – Follow structured processes to complete tasks efficiently. Adhere to company safety policies and use PPE to maintain a secure work environment.
• Product Knowledge – Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Diagnostics Support – Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum Age: Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible Schedule: Availability including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

• Automotive Knowledge: Basic knowledge of automotive parts is preferred.
• Exceptional Communication: Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Automotive Retail: Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Certifications: Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
