Job summary

maurices Findlay is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to create a memorable shopping experience and help customers build complete wardrobes. You will support in-store presentation, assist with visual merchandising, and focus on customer needs to meet sales goals.

You will work in a friendly, teamwork-driven environment with a flexible schedule, a strong emphasis on service, and access to exclusive discounts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and help customers build wardrobes; participate in visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Guide customers through the maurices brand experience and promote loyalty programs and product knowledge.
• Operate store technology (POS, tablets, headsets) to support an omni-channel shopping experience and promotions.
• Support product flow, shipping/receiving, and omni order fulfilment including curbside pickup.

Position Overview

What you’ll do Our Part-Time Retail Sales Associates (Stylists/Sales Support) create an unforgettable shopping experience that leaves our customers inspired and feeling their best. While the primary responsibility of a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate is to deliver excellent customer service and build wardrobes; sales associates will also participate in visual merchandising and maintaining store presentation, while focusing on the customers’ needs to achieve sales goals.

General Work Expectations:

• Guide the Customer through our award‑winning BRAND EXPERIENCE to make authentic connections
• Customer‑obsessed, leading with loyalty, confidence and product knowledge to advise style and fit, influence with moments that matter
• Cash Wrap/Cashier: use our modern store technology (ie:POS, payment systems, tablets, headsets for communication) to be well‑informed on company priorities and promotions in‑store and online; deliver a seamless, omni‑channel shopping experience; promote our loyalty programs and credit services
• Maintain maurices’ visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer
• Product Flow/Shipping and Receiving: support the shipment process to gain awareness of product, what’s new and what’s already on the floor; contribute to the completion of omni order fulfilment processes including in‑store and curbside pick‑up

Position Requirements:

• At least 16 years of age
• A willingness to relate to customers of all ages and backgrounds
• Goal/Achievement oriented
• Some technical aptitude
• Ability to follow directions and work with a sense of urgency in a fast‑paced environment, while working through competing priorities
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
