Dollar General is seeking a team member for store operations in Lake Charles, LA. You will handle front-end cash transactions, assist customers, stock and merchandise displays, and maintain store cleanliness.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, following plan-o-gram guidance, and assisting with ordering using handheld scanners. A high school diploma is preferred, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; stock merchandise or move to sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise and assist customers in locating items.
• Operate cash register, total purchases and bag merchandise; collect payment.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean store front and set up sidewalk displays when needed.
