Job summary

EILEEN FISHER, Inc. is seeking Sales Associates in Manchester, VT to greet customers, promote our philosophy, and drive sales on the selling floor. You will use technology to serve customers and support store operations with accuracy and a teamwork mindset.

The role requires retail experience, excellent communication, and an ability to lift up to 40 lbs. A flexible schedule and open availability are preferred as part of a dynamic retail environment that emphasizes sustainability and brand values.

Qualifications

• Retail Sales Associate experience or service industry background required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Dedication to creating excellent customer experience in a retail setting
• Open-minded attitude towards experiencing our Brand and product, stylishly wardrobing self and customers.
• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and changes in strategies.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. at floor level and/or team lift when necessary.
• Ability to climb short/tall ladders, twist, bend, and stoop to retrieve items from floor, shelves, and hooks.
• Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time.
• Flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet and receive customers in a welcoming manner.
• Promote our philosophy, values, and support our purpose and strategic objectives.
• Drive sales through customer engagement, suggestive selling, and sharing of product knowledge.
• Respond to customers’ questions.
• Direct customers by escorting them to fitting rooms, merchandise and sales counter.
• Use new technology and embrace all avenues of distribution as tools to service our customer.
• Acts as an empowered team member, exercising decision-making skills to enhance each customers’ experience.
• Possesses basic math and money handling skills with the ability to process payment using store POS system.
• Perform merchandising duties including steaming, folding, and displaying product according to EF visual standards.
• Perform light cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and well-organized space.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Able to grasp new concepts quickly and is receptive to new information.
• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

The starting pay for this role is $17.00/hr. dependent upon experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer competitive benefits including a generous clothing allowance and a wellness reimbursement program.
