Job summary

Goodwill San Antonio is seeking a Sales Associate to support daily store operations, assist customers, and process transactions at the Evans location in San Antonio, TX. The role involves handling donations, maintaining product presentation, and supporting loss prevention practices.

Candidates should have 6 months to 1 year in retail customer service, effective communication, and the ability to lift and move items.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience in retail customer service oriented environment.
• Ability to bend, lift, grasp and move continuously through the day.
• Good verbal communication skills with ability to effectively work as a team to achieve mission goals.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner and assist with shopping needs.
• Receive, price and stock donations; maintain store presentations and restock as needed.
• Operate cash register and handle payments accurately.
• Keep work areas clean, free of hazards and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Assist in safeguarding store and comply with ethics and loss prevention policies.
