CubeSmart is hiring for a Store Operations Associate to manage stores across the district, focusing on customer service and property maintenance. You will engage customers, drive leasing of units, process payments at the POS, and perform daily upkeep to ensure a clean, safe facility.

The role emphasizes a friendly, proactive approach, ability to work Saturdays, and readiness to contribute to team goals while maintaining operations across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Must be able to work Saturdays (and possibly Sundays).
• Experience delivering high-quality customer service.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

In your role at CubeSmart Self-Storage, you will be required to manage and maintain stores within your district. This includes skills in both customer service and property maintenance.

The Store Operations Associate is responsible for two key areas:

Customer Service

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Working both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our Point-of-Sale System (POS), completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.

Property Maintenance

• Physical requirements include daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and the store grounds, opening, and closing of the storage doors (up to 50 lbs.)
• Maintaining facility which includes mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning out storage units, and similar activities.
• Keeping a clean and safe storage facility to ensure conditions meet company guidelines (i.e., clean restrooms, neat landscaping and parking areas, storage doors that are clean and tidy, and neat decluttered office space.)

• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
• Some locations may require Sunday hours.
