Job summary

United Pacific seeks a Sales Associate for a Lake Saint Louis, Missouri location. You will handle daily cash transactions, maintain store presentation, and help keep inventory secure while learning to operate a cash register and computer systems.

The role requires reliability for shifts including weekends and holidays; candidates must be at least 18 with a high school diploma or GED preferred. Eligible for benefits with full-time status.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
• Ability to work alone in the store for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.
• Be able to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours.
• Be physically able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 20 lbs.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes of workday (i.e., assisting in stocking/maintaining inventory levels).
• Ability to occasionally climb a ladder to store and retrieve materials, and/or place or remove signage.
• Significant amount of work is performed indoors, but there are times when extended periods of work may be performed outside.
• Capable of working in small spaces at times.

Responsibilities

• Daily cash handling and operating the cash register.
• Maintenance of lighting and fixtures and general store upkeep.
• Ensure security of inventory and currency to prevent theft or shrinkage.
• Learn and operate computer console and other equipment related to work tasks.
• Report to Store Manager under company policies and procedures.
