Big 5 Sporting Goods Corporation is seeking a friendly Sales Associate in Moreno Valley, CA. You will help customers, answer questions, and keep the sales floor tidy and well-stocked.

Responsibilities include assisting shoppers, answering inquiries, recommending products, and retrieving merchandise from stockroom while upholding a fast-paced store environment. E-Verify and lifting requirements apply as noted.

Role Overview

Sales Associates play a key role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience for every customer. Responsibilities include assisting customers throughout the store, answering questions, and ensuring a well-organized sales floor and stockroom.

Primary Duties

• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers throughout the store
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
• Recommend products and suggest add-on sales
• Checking and retrieving merchandise from stockroom as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor
• Performs or may perform additional duties as assigned by management and supervision

Position Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Basic knowledge of sporting goods is a plus
