Job summary

HouseMart is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and keep stores clean, organized, and shoppable. You will greet customers, assist with displays, and apply product knowledge to drive sales.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. You will handle inventory, operate registers, and support store safety and security.

Qualifications

• Customer service, retail, and cash handling experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• General knowledge and experience with computer systems and two-way radios.

Responsibilities

• Customer service: Greets every customer and provides personalized assistance to ensure a positive experience.
• Store visuals and merchandising: Assists in setting up and breaking down displays and maintains presentation of merchandise.
• Sales and product knowledge: Builds customer loyalty through suggestive selling and knowledge of current products.
• Inventory: Perform weekly counts and handle register transactions to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Safety and security: Works in a safe manner and practices prevention methods.
