The Children’s Place in Aurora, IL is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team and deliver exceptional customer service. You will help with merchandise presentation, replenishment, and stockroom organization while maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with a sense of urgency, prioritizing assisting customers over other tasks.
• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service.
• Explain value and quality of our merchandise and share current promotions.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment and effective problem solving.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and educate on the PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure all sizes/styles are represented.
• Follow standards of merchandise presentation, signage, and display.
• Keep stockroom neat and organized; maintain a safe, ready environment.
• Perform daily housekeeping to company standard.
• Inform leadership of maintenance and facility needs promptly.
• Support store goals and adapt to stock processing as needed.
