Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Eastern Territory is seeking a part-time Sales Associate for the Shamokin Family Store. You will engage customers, handle the register, process donations, and help maintain the store while supporting volunteer coordination.

Position offers 9am-4pm, Tuesday-Friday, 26 hours/week with a $10.48/hour pay. Training and a strong charitable mission accompany a comprehensive benefits package for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Prior experience with cash register and public.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and determine their needs.
• Describe merchandise and explain care and operation to customers.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Process payments and receipts at the register.
• Maintain records of sales and transactions.
• Oversee volunteers when supervisor is away.
• Price and stock merchandise.
• Keep sales floor and back areas neat and clean.
