The Children’s Place in Woodburn, OR is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will model excellent customer service, share product knowledge, and execute effective selling techniques while maintaining store standards and a clean, organized backroom.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, addressing needs promptly, maintaining stock levels, and promoting current promotions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with a sense of urgency, prioritizing assisting customers over other tasks.
• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service.
• Effectively communicate value and quality of our merchandise while sharing current promotions and offering solutions for out of stock items when necessary.
• Exercise sound judgment in addressing customer concerns.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service at the cashwrap and educate customers on the PLACE Card benefits.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure sizes and styles are represented.
• Follow company standards of merchandise presentation, signage, and display.
• Support a neat, clean, organized stockroom and a customer-ready environment with safety in mind.
• Perform daily housekeeping duties to company standard.
• Protect company assets by adhering to Loss Prevention procedures.
• Inform Store Leadership Team of maintenance needs to ensure a safe environment.
• Contribute focused, well-managed efforts toward store goals.
• Exhibit flexibility by processing stock when necessary.
