Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
Basic mathematical skills.
Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsibilities

Unload trucks.
Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; store or move merchandise to the floor.
Build merchandise displays.
Stock and rotate merchandise on shelves.
Restock recovered merchandise.
Assist customers by locating merchandise.
Greet customers; operate cash register and bag merchandise.
Collect payment and make change.
Assist with ordering merchandise using hand-held scanners.
Clean store front and set up sidewalk displays as needed.
