Job summary

KnitWell Group is seeking associates for a temporary/part-time store role in Ridgefield, CT. You will deliver outstanding customer service, build relationships, and promote fashion with strong product knowledge.

The position supports management in store operations and customer engagement across shifts. Flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays is expected, with a weekly availability of 15–20 hours and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and high integrity.
• Technological competency to navigate a computer/iPad/handheld system.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional and meaningful customer service experience that promotes the product and builds brand relationships.
• Take an active role in assisting the management team to build store business.
• Support all service enhancers to build strong relationships including active use of Concierge.
• Service multiple customers at a time, multi-task and/or handle projects simultaneously.
• Be aware of fashion trends and seek information about all new arrivals, including product knowledge about fit and color.
• Use product knowledge to create outfits for customers and suggest items to match needs.
• Maximize individual performance through learning opportunities, coaching and feedback.
• Achieve sales and service metrics in clientelling/outreach, appointment setting and Talbots Classic Awards.
• Complete projects including filling orders, replenishment, recovery, etc.
