Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Retail Associate to act as the point of contact for customers, stock merchandise, and maintain plan-o-grams in our Las Vegas, NM store. You will help set up displays, operate the register, and ensure a positive shopping experience.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (preferred) and strong communication skills, with the ability to manage stock and assist customers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guidelines.
• Basic cash handling knowledge.
• Demonstrates basic mathematical skills.
• Experience using IBM cash register functions.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise on the sales floor.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answer questions.
• Set up and maintain plan-o-grams and displays.
• Operate cash register and process transactions.
• Restock and rotate merchandise on shelves.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize stockroom.
• Assist with ordering and receiving merchandise as needed.
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
