Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Sales Associate to be the primary point of contact for customers in a Millville, NJ store. The role involves assisting customers with purchases, operating the register, stocking shelves, and maintaining store cleanliness to maximize profitability and asset protection.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, handling transactions with a cash register, and executing merchandising plans.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase, collect payment and make change, bag merchandise.
• Follow company merchandise processes; unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves and build merchandise displays.
• Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop store floors, clean restroom and receiving room.
