Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a team-oriented associate to support daily store operations and customer service. You will act as the point of contact for customers, assist in setting plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and help maximize profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting assets.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, receiving and stocking, building displays, assisting customers, operating the cash register, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; store or stock.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register; bag purchases; take payment.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using scanners.
• Clean store areas and maintain appearances.
