Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is hiring a Sales Associate to greet customers, assist with merchandise, operate the cash register, and ensure a clean, orderly store. You will help customers locate items, process transactions, stock shelves, and support merchandising efforts to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, basic math and cash-handling ability, and the stamina to stand and walk frequently. High school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read planograms and merchandise presentations.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and greet customers.
• Operate cash register, scan items, process payments and give change.
• Stock, restock, rotate merchandise and build displays.
• Keep store clean and assist with side duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
