Dollar General Corporation is hiring for a store associate role in Missouri. You will greet customers, locate merchandise, stock shelves, build displays, and process purchases at the cash register.

You’ll also assist with receiving shipments, rotating stock, and maintaining store cleanliness in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have good communication, basic math, cash handling, and plan-o-gram reading skills, with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; store merchandise in stock room or move directly to sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays.
• Stock merchandise; rotate and face merchandise on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Greet customers and operate cash register to itemize and total purchases.
• Collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean store areas and assist with displays as needed.
