Dollar General Corporation in Greenville, OH seeks a Retail Associate to greet customers, assist in locating merchandise, stock shelves, and operate the cash register for a smooth checkout experience. Follow plan-o-gram guidance and help set up displays to support store profitability and customer satisfaction.

Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, basic math, and be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
Understanding of safety policies and practices.
Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
Basic mathematical skills.
Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsabilités

Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
Receive, open and unpack cartons; store merchandise or move to sales floor.
Build displays and rotate stock on shelves.
Restock recovered merchandise and assist customers in locating items.
Greet customers and operate cash register to itemize and total purchases.
Collect payment and give change; assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
Keep store clean (trash, dusting, mopping, restrooms) and maintain front end cleanliness.
