Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a team-oriented store associate in the United States to greet customers, locate merchandise, and ring up purchases. You will stock, rotate, and face items, assist with merchandising, and maintain a clean, organized store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram guidance.
• Experience with cash handling and basic math.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Receive, open and unpack shipments; stock in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise; collect payment and give change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners as needed.
• Clean store front, restrooms, stockroom and ensure overall store cleanliness.
