Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to act as the primary customer contact, manage stock and plan-o-grams, and support frontline sales. You will unload trucks, build displays, stock shelves, and assist shoppers throughout shifts in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include operating the cash register, processing payments, and helping on the sales floor. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with emphasis on safety and accurate cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain merchandise displays.
• Stock, rotate and face shelves; restock as needed.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Operate cash register to total purchases and bag items; handle payments.
