Job summary

Mars Hill Liquors in Indianapolis is seeking a Retail Sales Associate (Cashier Focus) to deliver excellent customer service while operating the register and supporting store operations.

This role includes stocking, cleaning, exterior maintenance, and complying with all ATC alcohol rules. You will lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment, ready to assist customers and departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain Indiana ATC Server Training Permit.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Previous retail or cashier experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and process transactions accurately (cash, card, etc.).
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service, including product assistance and recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays as needed.
• Monitor store conditions and restock high-demand items.
• Assist with store cleanliness, including sweeping and maintaining floors and exterior areas.
• Follow all company procedures related to cash handling, ID verification, and alcohol sales compliance.
