Dollar General is seeking a full-time Associate to join our Kentucky store team. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, and help customers locate merchandise while maintaining clean, inviting aisles.

Responsibilities include operating the cash register, handling payments, and bagging purchases; assisting with displays and restocking as needed. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with strong interpersonal and safety-conscious mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Greet customers and assist with locating items.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise; handle payments.
• Restock, rotate and face merchandise on shelves.
• Clean store areas and stockroom; maintain safety.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Build merchandise displays and set up sidewalk displays when necessary.
