Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate for the thrift store in Lake Zurich, IL. The role focuses on providing friendly customer service, handling sales transactions, and maintaining an inviting store environment.

You will work 10:00am-3:00pm, up to 28 hours per week, with Saturdays included. Prior retail experience is helpful, and a positive, mission-driven attitude is valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and offering assistance.
• Process sales transactions accurately using our Point of Sale system including opening, closing, and balancing.
• Maintain store appearance through cleaning, organizing, and restocking.
• Help meet daily production goals by processing and displaying new merchandise.
• Contribute to a positive shopping environment.
