Wild Bill’s Tobacco is hiring for a full-time retail associate in our Lansing-area stores. Join a fast-paced, people-friendly environment with growth opportunities. Provide exceptional service, meet sales goals, learn products, and promote the brand both inside and outside the store.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, cash handling, inventory, maintaining clean stores, and delivering a positive customer experience. Flexible hours and a focus on teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience in retail environments and customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal/interpersonal communications skills.
• Flexible scheduling availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to store customers, including greeting and answering phones.
• Answer questions and resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
• Build relationships with customers to suggest products.
• Meet or exceed sales goals.
• Gain product knowledge to be the store expert.
• Promote the brand inside and outside the store/location.
• Assist with all store functions following company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store for customers.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Able to travel within a 15-mile radius from home store for shift coverage.
• Open, close, and operate the retail facility with cash handling and deposits per standards.
• Complete accurate paperwork and transactions per policies.
• Maintain store appearance, back room, restrooms, and work area.
• Build customer confidence by making their experience comfortable and simple.
• Assist in other tasks or projects as assigned by management.
• Open and close the store, including locking doors and setting the alarm.
• Work shifts from 4 to 12 hours standing on the sales floor.
• Twist, bend, squat, lift, and reach overhead.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
