Job summary

FirstCash is seeking a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate in Tacoma, WA. The role offers $17.13–$18.22 per hour plus unlimited commission and benefits. You’ll greet customers, explain terms for pawn and loan services, and help maintain a welcoming store environment.

Ideal candidates are 18+ with a high school diploma, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexible for weekends/holidays. Bilingual applicants are encouraged, with wage access and various benefits available.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries.
• Support customers with pawn and short-term loan services by explaining terms and completing paperwork.
• Process sales and loan activity accurately while following company and regulatory guidelines.
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support buying, selling, and loan decisions.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly.
• Support store operations, including basic opening/closing tasks.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Complete required training and follow company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided)
• Strong customer service skills and a team‑oriented mindset
• Basic math and computer skills; experience using retail checkout systems is a plus
• Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas

Commission Information

Associates can earn 2–8% commission based on individual performance. Full details are provided during the interview process.
