FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate in the Houston area. The role offers $10.00–$14.00 per hour plus unlimited commission and a benefits package.

You’ll greet customers, explain loan terms, process transactions, and help maintain a clean, organized store floor while meeting regulatory guidelines. You’ll work a flexible schedule with weekends and holidays, enjoy earned wage access after day 2, and participate in discounts, insurance, and 401(k) auto‑enrollment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable handling firearms in FFL locations; certification provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries.
• Support customers with pawn and short-term loan services by explaining terms, completing paperwork, and ensuring a smooth, customer-focused experience.
• Process sales and loan activity accurately while following company and regulatory guidelines.
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support buying, selling, and loan decisions.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly.
• Support store operations, including basic opening/closing tasks.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Complete required training and follow company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided)
• Strong customer service skills and a team‑oriented mindset
• Basic math and computer skills; experience using retail checkout systems is a plus
• Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas
• Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply

Commission Information

Associates can earn 2–8% commission based on individual performance. Full details are provided during the interview process.
