Job summary

Floor & Decor in Vacaville is hiring Sales Associates to provide friendly, accurate service and help customers find products to complete their projects. You'll contribute to a fast-paced, safe store environment by keeping areas stocked and organized.

The role offers full-time and part-time positions with opportunities for career advancement. You will learn product knowledge, assist at checkout, and collaborate with the team to meet sales goals while upholding company safety and customer service

Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Forklift certifications may be required where state law allows.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations when assisting customers.
• Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas and ensure it is clean, shoppable and safe.
• Work in cooperation with management and team members to achieve sales goals.
• Process customers at checkout using POS system.
• Process refunds and exchanges according to guidelines.
• Follow established cash, check and credit card acceptance procedures.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs; stock, tag and display merchandise.
• Act in a manner consistent with the company's core values and safety processes.
• Answer telephone according to company guidelines.
• Be available to assist in other areas of the store as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.

$18.80 - $26.80

Floor & Decor's Sales Associates play a key role in continuously providing customers with friendly, accurate service and support in finding products to complete their project. Our Sales Associates contribute to a fast pace, safe environment by keeping sales departments clean and well stocked. Essential Job Functions:

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Some positions may require completion of forklift certifications through F&D.
• Where permissible by state law, certification to use heavy equipment requires successful passing of a drug test.

W orking Conditions (travel & environment)

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.

Physical/Sensory Requirements

Ability exert 30 - 60 pounds of force occasionally, and or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects. The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

• Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Pickup Hours

• Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
