Job summary

PUMA SE is seeking a Retail Sales Associate in San Marcos, CA to deliver outstanding customer experiences and support store operations. The role includes cash handling, stock management, and ensuring store standards and safety guidelines are followed.

The position may require evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. Prior retail experience and basic MS Office skills are preferred. Benefits are provided with base pay quoted as hourly wages.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail experience.
• Strong team player with ability to learn quickly.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Ability to stand/walk, lift up to 30 pounds.
• Customer-service oriented with a focus on achieving KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistently high standards of customer experience within the Store following PUMA’s brand values and service standards.
• Through effective customer service, drive sales and meet KPIs and profitability targets.
• Process sales transactions at checkout accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain the cleanliness and order of the store and follow visual merchandising guidelines.
• Execute and process incoming and outgoing merchandise.
• Assist with stock levels, inventory counts and product availability.
• Comply with Policies & Procedures and operational core competencies.
• Maintain a safe, healthy and compliant working/shopping environment.
• Be available to work non-traditional hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

• Provide consistently high standards of customer experience within the Store in accordance with PUMA’s Brand Values and service standards,
• Through effective customer service, individual performance consistently achieves or exceeds sales, KPIs and profitability targets,
• Responsible for accurately processing sales transactions at checkout, securely and quickly,
• Maintain the cleanliness and order of the store as well as compliance with all visual merchandising guidelines according to PUMA standards,
• Responsible for the execution and processing of incoming and outgoing merchandise,
• Assist with managing stock levels, inventory counts and product availability, as needed,
• Required to comply with all Policies & Procedures, operational core competencies and key accountabilities,
• Responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy and compliant working and shopping environment,
• Required to work non-traditional hours; weekends, evenings, holidays; overtime may be required in this position.
• At least 1 year of experience in a retail environment or other relative experience, preferred,
• Strong team player,
• Ability to learn quickly,
• Knowledge of computer skills, basic know-how about MS Office programs,
• The ability to constantly walk and move about is required. Use of the following senses is critical to this position: speaking, hearing, near and far acuity, depth perception, and field of vision. Ability to lift/carry, push/pull up to 30 pounds regularly.

The base pay for this position is $15.00 - $18.00 + Benefits
