Job summary

Sunglass Hut, part of EssilorLuxottica, is hiring for a Casual Part-Time Sales Associate in San Diego. You will deliver exceptional customer service, build relationships, and meet sales targets while developing product knowledge of the latest trends and styles.

Responsibilities include upselling, product knowledge training, and providing omnichannel support to ensure a seamless customer experience both in-store and online. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in retail sales, preferably in eyewear and/or luxury retail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to all clients and meet shopping needs.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge; participate in training sessions and workshops.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Brand, warranties, and optical add-on features.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, including follow-up in-store and post-sale.
• Meet and exceed daily, weekly and monthly sales targets through upselling and cross-selling.
• Assist with minor adjustments and repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized store environment on sales floor and back-of-house areas.
• Provide omnichannel support to deliver a seamless customer experience across online and in-store platforms.
• Understand and adhere to brand policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in retail sales, preferably in eyewear and/or luxury retail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating a POS system.
• Luxury sales or eyewear industry experience.

Pay Range: 17.55-26.32
