The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Noblesville, IN is seeking a Store Sales Associate II to deliver friendly customer service, operate the POS, and help maintain a clean, welcoming store atmosphere. This part-time role supports our mission by processing donations into merchandise for sale and contributing to a positive shopping experience for the community.

Ideal candidates will have strong English communication, basic computer skills, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and offering assistance
• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system including opening, closing, and balancing
• Maintain store appearance through cleaning, organizing, and restocking
• Help meet daily production goals by processing and displaying new merchandise
• Contribute to a positive shopping environment
• Cross-trained in other Departments and able to perform Bank Running as needed

About the Role

Join our team in \"Doing the Most Good\" as a Store Sales Associate. We're seeking friendly and enthusiastic individuals who will help create a welcoming shopping experience for our diverse community of customers and donors. This role combines customer service, retail operations, and mission-driven work to support The Salvation Army's community programs. You'll be an essential part of our team, transforming donations into resources that directly support our mission of serving those in need in our community.

Location and Pay

Location: Noblesville, IN
Pay:$13.50 per hour
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule: 24 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and offering assistance


• Process sales transactions accurately using our Point of Sale system including opening, closing, and balancing


• Maintain store appearance through cleaning, organizing, and restocking


• Help meet daily production goals by processing and displaying new merchandise


• Contribute to a positive shopping environment


• Must also have one or more these three duties:


• Bank Running


• Cross trained in other Departments
