Job summary

Sunglass Hut in Los Angeles seeks a casual part-time Sales Associate to deliver an outstanding shopping experience and build brand loyalty with every guest.

You will greet customers, stay informed on the latest sunglass collections, assist with stock and visual standards, and collaborate with store leadership to meet sales goals while representing the EssilorLuxottica family with warmth and style.

Qualifications

• 1 year of previous sales or customer service experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while also being committed to creating an amazing customer experience.
• Self-motivated, team player.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers and inform merchandisers on stocking needs.
• Ensure all visual standards set forth by management are maintained.
• Problem-solve for customer issues and loop in management for assistance.
• Manage complex customer service situations for VIP clientele and retain them.
• Stay up-to-date on current product assortment and serve as an informed brand ambassador.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
• Adhere to company rules and attend meetings.
• Be punctual and communicate proactively with management.
• Represent the brand with personal style and community connections.

Job Description

GENERAL FUNCTION

As a Sales Associate, your objective will be to provide an exceptional shopping experience that will encourage positive customer connections and brand loyalty.

• Promote an excellent customer experience, including but are not limited to:
  • Greeting and serving customers
  • Inform merchandisers/managers on stocking needs
  • Ensure all visual standards set forth by management and the company are always maintained
  • Problem-solve for any customer issues and loop in management for assistance
• Manage complex customer service situations by applying a high touch level of assistance to VIP clientele on a regular basis and in turn ensure VIP clientele retention
• Remain up-to-date and educated on current product assortment to serve as an informed ambassador of the brand
• Actively listen and act on any instructions given by management or superior as defined by management at any time
• Occasionally assist with opening and closing duties as needed
• Comply with professional regulations, internal rules and code of conduct set forth by the company and management
• Attend and participate in occasional work meetings
• Hold yourself accountable for shift punctuality and proactively communicate to manager if obstacles arise
• Serve as an ambassador to the brand by leveraging your innate sensibility, style, and pre-established connection to the local and broader communities where our brands’ culture flourishes

Basic Qualifications

• 1 year of previous sales or customer service experience

Pay Range: 17.55 - 26.32

In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
